Mardi Gras Casino & Gaming
The main slots floor is located inside the ground level of the grandstand. The area has been nicely
transformed from an aging pari-mutuel into a modern casino. Measuring in at 70,00 square feet, the casino is home to over 1300 machines including slots,
video poker, video blackjack (from $3 a hand), and video roulette. On the third floor, The Balcony has more slots in a naturally lit area overlooking the racetrack.
Video Poker - Mardi Gras' vp paytables and expected returns are similar to the other local racetrack casinos.
Casino Hours - 10:30AM to 3:30AM Monday-Thursday. 24 hours weekends. Live Poker - The poker room (30 tables) is located on the ground floor and is open 24 hours a day. Racing - The greyhound season runs November to June (Fri-Wed 7:35pm post time; Thurs and Sat matinees 12:35pm post time). Simulcast Wagering - Bet on dogs, thoroughbred horse racing, harness racing, and jai alai. The simulcast facility is located on the second floor and operates from 11:30am to 2:00am. Player's Club - Earn points that are redeemable at the restaurants and receive special offers and invitations to promotional events (400 points = $1).
French Quarter Restaurant & Bar - This casual restaurant, located on the third floor, has daily dinner
specials. The menu includes
burgers, fish and chips, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and various entrees (crab legs, prime rib, etc).
Cafe Orleans - Counter service, located off the casino floor. Serves sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, and desserts.
The Mezz Grill - A snack bar and grill on the upper level in the simulcast area.
Louie's Lounge - A full service bar and restaurant adjacent to the poker room serving pizza, sandwiches,
soup and salads, and a special late night menu.
Entertainment - Free entertainment daily (musical acts, local DJs, magicians, etc).
Shopping - There is a gift shop as well as the weekend outdoor flea market.
Parking - Complimentary valet and outdoor self parking.
Mardi Gras is located at the intersection of Highway US-1 and Pembroke Rd (the address is 831 North Federal Hwy in Hallandale). It is north of Miami and south of Fort Lauderdale.
Take US-1 to Pembroke Rd. Or, from I-95 exit at Pembroke Rd and proceed east to US-1.
