Flagler Dog Track originally opened in 1939. The property was transformed into the Magic City Casino in 2009 after voters approved the slots referendum. Opening day was October 15, 2009. It was the first casino at a pari-mutuel facility to open in Miami-Dade County. |

Magic City Casino, Miami
The casino floor is located on the second floor and contains 700 slot machines as well as a bar, a snack bar and
the buffet. The area is nicely decorated, comfortable, and well lit.
Casino Hours - 10:00AM to 4:00AM every day.
Live Poker - The 18 table, non-smoking poker room is open seven days a week
(1PM-1AM Sun-Thurs, 2PM-2AM Fri & Sat). Cash games, as well as single and multi-table tournaments are dealt. Promotions
include high hand awards every day as well as a royal flush progressive.
Racing - There is live greyhound racing five days a week (1pm on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday;
8pm on Thursday).
Simulcast Wagering - Bet on dog and horse racing every day. The simulcast facility operates from noon until
late night.
Player's Club - The Magic City Player's Club rewards patrons for their play with cash as well as special
discounts at the buffet. The casino runs quite a few promotions including drawings for free play and prizes.
Big Mouth Buffet - Open for lunch and dinner.
Casino Concessions - Snack bar with pizza, burgers and sandwiches.
Casino Bar - Located in the casino, with big screen televisions.
Tres Hermanos Bar - Outdoor bar overlooking the track, with live music.
Entertainment - Aside from the Seminole Hard Rock, Magic City probably has the best entertainment calendar of
the local casinos. It hosts live concerts by local and internationally known American and Latin American artists
almost every week.
Magic City is located on NW 27 Avenue (Douglas Rd)
and NW 7 St, just south of the Dolphin Expressway (State Rd 836). It is two miles from Miami International Airport,
five miles from downtown Miami, and nine miles from South Beach.
